Experience Life in a 21st Century Town

Our Board is searching for an outstanding person to follow on from our respected principal of 24 years who retires in July.

The town of Ashburton, located near lakes and mountains, offers a modern living environment offering great lifestyle opportunities and fantastic new community amenities that are detailed in the application pack.

We are an International Baccalaureate [IB] accredited school of 450 that is seeking an inspirational and empowering educational leader who would build on, and value, our strong foundations in order to take our school into an exciting future.

Our school is on two sites – a town-site [Years 1-8] with the majority of our students and a small rural site [Years 1-6] at Lagmhor about 12 km inland. Both schools have a common Board of Trustees. We are in the Hakatere [Ashburton] Kahui Ako I COL.

We can offer the right person a stimulating educational environment; a beautiful physical environment [Green-Gold Enviroschool]; great support from an active Board, highly professional staff and a proud bicultural/multicultural community.

Our students enjoy fabulous outdoor activities, exciting EOTC and an amazingly comprehensive, high quality Arts programme. Student Voice is taken very seriously.
